Site Audit & Consulting

Once IRIS has a understanding of the prospective client’s goals for a project, and the prospective client feels that IRIS has the appropriate solution, a site audit is scheduled with all relevant client staff with a stake in the project. During this meeting IRIS will work to get a solid understanding of the client’s safety and security challenges that are prompting the initiative and gather additional information regarding current safety and security systems, safety and security procedures, environmental concerns, lighting levels, availability of electrical power to potential equipment locations, facility construction, distance to the intended subjects, current threat levels, prior incidents, client personnel levels and many other factors that play a part in the design and implementation of a successful physical security solution.

We believe that every client is unique and that your system should be as well. Our goal is to provide you with an innovative solution to your particular fire & security needs.

Design & Engineering

Blueprints are studied and facilities are walked, in order to determine the exact numbers, types, and locations of equipment involved in your solution. The needs and expectations of every client are unique, and a system must be customized to successfully address those specific needs and expectations.  When everything is approved, lists of equipment requirements are compiled and manufacturers are chosen.

Engineering has the responsibility of marrying the physical design of a facility with the design team's system equipment configuration. The engineering department will study the type and placement of equipment and software involved in your system design. The engineers also determine and produce wiring diagrams and cabling runs, and they address the placement of equipments of system.

Project Management

Project management is the application of knowledge, skills and techniques to execute projects effectively and efficiently. The process of directing and controlling a project from start to finish are further divided into following basic phases:

Project conception and initiation
Project definition and planning
Project launch or execution
Project monitor and control
Project close

IRIS is a true turn-key systems integrator and has learned from experience that successful projects do not just happen. They are result of doing the right thing the right way in the right order. IRIS provides every aspect of the solution from design to procurement to installation to ongoing service.

System Integration

To most firms in the physical security industry, “integration” simply means getting a software or hardware solution to work the way the manufacturer intended it to work. That isn’t integration, that’s “plug-and-play”. IRIS believes that true integration is getting two different applications from two different manufacturers to work together in ways neither manufacturer intended, but yet results in significantly more value to the client than the two systems offered independently.

Our goal is not to lock our clients into using our solution because they have to. Our goal is to offer so much value to our clients based on the way we look at dissimilar systems that clients continually receive better, more effective results from their current solutions
